Walk and wiggle!

If you were going to name a stamping technique, I don't think you could come up with anything better than Shari Carroll's walk and wiggle technique demonstrated here on Hero Arts website. It looked amazing so I just had to have a try!

(Click on the photo for a more detailed view.)

The results are pretty cool, too!
I embossed mine with a clear embossing pad + powder (because I don't have any white embossing powder) and used a different combination of Distress Inks from Shari's tutorial. And I don't have the envelope pattern stamp (yet!) so I skipped that part.

The actual walk and wiggle part of the technique is fab, too and works on its own as well. I tried it a couple of different ways but haven't made those into cards yet. Watch this space, though!

The leaf stamp is from Lavinia and the ribbon is seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.

Walk and wiggle! Walk and wiggle... *sings*

By the way, what do you think of the photo against the natural wood background? I'm still experimenting with the best background, light and colour combo for the perfect photos so any feedback is very welcome! This was taken in natural light but not bright sunlight (it's 5pm).

Hope you've all had a good weekend and had some sunshine!
