Long time, no blogging!

As you can see, I haven't quite fallen off the face of the earth yet even though I have been very quiet on the blogging front this summer.

Well, I'm back with a card to show you... this was inspired by a recent UnityTV card tutorial using these same stamps/layout. And of course I've used my favourite colours, brown and teal... I promise that one of these days I'll make a card that uses a different colour scheme!

This is the second attempt - with the first, everything that could go wrong, did. I smudged the ink in the sentiment, and after spritzing the background with a Shimmer Mist, managed to drop it on the floor.

The background stamps are from Unity's Donna Downey "Inspired Meadows" kit, journaling spot is from Unity's Simple Stories "100% Real Life" kit and the sentiment from the Papertrey anniversary set.

This is going in the post tomorrow for someone's 91st birthday!

Hope you've all enjoyed the long Bank Holiday weekend (if you're in the UK) or had a good start to your week if you're elsewhere!

I've been missing you and your cards...and such a stunning card to come back with! Love the image and the way you have lined it up to the side with the sentiment and ribbon.
